Quattro-Tech Cambridge Ltd is the latest edition to the QT servicing and maintenance side of the group.

Opening in 2021, the team is spearheaded by Jon Cook and Alex Nixon as owner operators. Together, Jon and Alex have over 30 years’ combined experience and expertise within VWG (Volkswagen Group) and are both VWG Master Technicians.

In line with St Ives and Peterborough, we pride ourselves on giving an exceptional experience and consistently exceeding our customers’ expectations.

We also become the nearest most convenient Volkswagen Group Specialist in the south of Cambridgeshire area.

QT is an independent AUDI, CUPRA, SEAT, ŠKODA, VOLKSWAGEN and VW commercial vehicle repair specialist with a dedicated team having over 90 years experience and expertise within VWG (Volkswagen Group).

Cambridge

Jon - Director & Master Technician

Jon is an owner/operator at Cambridge alongside Alex. Jon started his career in 1996 where he completed an apprenticeship at Volvo. He then went on to join Audi, becoming a qualified Master Technician and High Voltage Technician. Jon brings a strong skill set including teamwork, attention to detail, determination, and excellent customer service. In his spare time, he enjoys watching Moto GP, playing football, and spending time with his family.

Steve - FOH Lead

Will - Technician

Will joined QT in August 2022 as Apprentice Vehicle Technician working under the guidance of both Jon and Alex. Currently working towards his level 3 qualification, Will initially joined with a strong passion for cars but little mechanical knowledge. Since joining us, Will has developed a multitude of skills and now has thorough understandings of various mechanical components but continues to learn more everyday. His favourite car in the VWG is the Audi RS6 and in his spare time he enjoys playing as part of a basketball team aswell as spending time with his friends and family.

Josh - Technician

Josh joined QT St Ives in August 2022 as an Apprentice Technician and started working alongside Ben, and Ross. Josh is already level 1 and 2 qualified and is now close to completing level 3 apprenticeship qualification. Josh has recently been promoted to Technician and has since moved over from our St Ives branch to support our team at Cambridge. His favourite VWG car would be Audi RS3 and his spare time hobbies include hanging out with mates, socialising at the pub, fixing a project car and then subsequently taking it to car meets.

Ollie - Apprentice Technician

Ollie joined the team at QT Cambridge in October 2023. New to the motor trade, Ollie was keen to learn how vehicles function and the maintenance required to keep them running in peak condition. Outside of work, Ollie’s hobbies include spending time with family and friends and playing video games. His favourite VWG car is the Audi RS3.

Charlie - Diagnostic Technician

Charlie started his Apprenticeship in 2017 with Cambridge Audi when he was 17, his mentors at the time were actually Jon and Alex, now owner operators at Cambridge QT. Once completed Charlie became a Service Technician, and then went on to do further training to become an Audi Accredited Diagnostic Technician. The learning didn’t stop there as Charlie took part in some specialist courses whilst still at Audi, training to become a level 1 HVT, Audi R8 specialist and an Audi infotainment specialist. His favourite car from the VWG is an RS6! In his spare time he’s always riding his BMX and MTB bikes, and is also into football!
